Cut the existing hem to about hip height.  I made the front of my shirt slighty shorter than the back - giving it a dipped hem feel.

This is a really simple way to "upcycle" an man's shirt.  If you choose one with epilets, the shoulders become a feature and it won't matter so much that the shoulder seam doesn't sit right on your shoulder.

I wear this little good luck token on each episode.  It's really easy to make. 

 

Take an old tape measure, cut it into 3 pieces.  make 1 large loop, then and 2nd smaller loop.  "Glue gun" them together.
